Couple of design redos from Ming Tees that were kicking around for awhile and badly in need of a makeover. Top left is a Chinese Peony design, symbol of wealth, love, sex, marriage, and good fortune, inspired by Chinese tapestries and brocade textiles, and we added a Double Happiness symbol as well. Top right is a badly needed redo of an Iris flower design inspired by Japanese graphics and textiles, has a bit of a tropical feel now.

Ming Tees is spring cleaning out designs, lots of overhauls and new colors for some. Awhile ago i did a t shirt using this Japanese style crest lotus design with orchid flowers. But i’m not really happy with with that one, and this sort of style and composition is more what i had in mind. So bye to the orchids, and still trying for a surf /tropical sort of feel, with plumeria, or frangipani, instead.

Ming Tees is still on a surf shirt kick, and a couple here using a Japanese wave kamon (family crest) and hibiscus flowers. Since surf style shirts and tattoos are the only way MT know of to get blokes to happily wear flower designs. First design has stylized tide pools as well.
